Notice to customers: Regarding the news report on the Standard Chartered Private Bank customer data issue

In some news coverage, there have been reports of the data theft from a server dedicated to Standard Chartered Private Bank provided by Fuji Xerox Singapore.

We recognize that there was unauthorized access by a third party limited into a server dedicated to the Bank, that contains the Bank's customers' statement information, on an offsite print facility.  No other customers' data has been affected by this theft. The banking regulator, Monetary Authority of Singapore, confirmed that the theft is an isolated case.

Fuji Xerox Singapore has taken all appropriate actions to protect the integrity of our other server systems and also has appointed a forensic team to conduct a thorough review together with the authorities.
