Launches Media Handling Software That Enables Video Viewing From Android^TM OS Mobile Devices and iPhones

TOKYO, May 10, 2012 — To offer a video viewing environment for mobile users, Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. has today launched MediaDEPO Mobile Option 3.2J that enables users to view videos saved on MediaDEPO Server 3.2J from Android™ OS mobile devices and iPhones.

Targeting the e-learning market, MediaDEPO Mobile Option 3.2J is an optional product of MediaDEPO Server 3.2J, a media handling software that flexibly delivers and manages video contents. The features of MediaDEPO Mobile Option 3.2J include:

1. Allows users to view videos from Android™ OS mobile devices and iPhones, which enables them to learn the contents at any place, any time.
2. Users can resume the video from where they stopped watching either on a mobile device or computer.
3. Viewing logs of both mobile devices and computers are stored, enabling the management of users' views regardless of media.
4. The URL links of video contents can be sent by e-mail, so that users can watch the specified content from their mobile devices in a timely manner.
5. The user authentification with IDs and passwords as well as settings access right to each video content or user keep information secure even from mobile devices.
