Fuji Xerox's Systems Engineer Wins MVP Award From Microsoft Two Years in A Row

One of 54 Awardees Worldwide Under Project in The Business Productivity Category

TOKYO, February 9, 2012 — Shiro Saito, Solution Project Management, Solutions Group of Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd., has won a Microsoft® Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award, which Microsoft Corp. awards to exceptional leaders in the technical community, for the second consecutive year. Saito became one of this year's 54 awardees in the category, of which five are from Japan.

Saito works as a systems engineer with special expertise in enterprise project management using Microsoft's software, Project. Microsoft® Project is a project management software program that allows making plans and tracking of budget status based on globally-accepted standard techniques, to manage single or multiple projects centrally on a PC or server. He has been engaged in large-scale, complicated project management as well as in activities to propose solutions with high added value to support clients' growth strategy.

Saito participated in the 2011 MVP Global Summit that was hosted by Microsoft and held in Redmond from February 28 and March 2, 2011. There were 1,505 attendees from 76 countries worldwide, and he actively engaged in technical and cultural exchanges with MVPs from other countries. Additionally, in Japan, he served as a chairman of a user study group, which is organized by volunteers, and held more than 10 joint sessions annually, communicating with more than 150 users and engineers. He has also made continuous efforts in sharing information throughout the year by utilizing new tools including mailing lists and social media. Saito has won the MVP award two years in a row as Microsoft highly evaluated these activities and his continuous leading role in the Project technical community.
