Fuji Xerox DocuColor 1450 GA Configuration Obtains the First Japan Color DDCP Machine Ability Certification

TOKYO, December 21, 2011 — On December 1, 2011, the configuration of DocuColor 1450 GA, PX140 Print Server series and JD Coat 127 provided by Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd., became the first to receive DDCP (Direct Digital Color Proof) Machine Ability Certification of the Japan Color Certification SystemNote1 organized by the Japan Printing Machinery Association.

The Association certified Fuji Xerox DocuColor 1450 GA configuration in recognition of the print device's capability of stable and even reproduction of colors that are closer to the Japan Color Standard; the printing simulation performance for image procession by the color management system software of PX140 Print Server; and JD Coat paper's light resistance with minimal color fading on exposure to light.

DDCP Machine Ability Certification is designed to certify devices with a capability of high-quality and stable color proof outputting. The certification evaluates the configurationNote2 of a proof device, Raster Image Processor (RIP)Note3 and proof papers.

Fuji Xerox will continue its contribution for the improvement and expansion of its customers' business in the graphic arts market.
