Enables Scanned Documents to be Registered Directly From Multifunction Devices to Lotus Notes/Domino Database
TOKYO, July 8, 2008 — On August 29, 2008, Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. will begin sales of HG/Pscan for Apeos <Lotus Notes Link> software (developed by Hyper GEAR, Inc.) that links the company’s multifunction device, ApeosPort series, with Lotus Notes/Domino groupware of IBM Japan, Ltd..
With HG/Pscan for Apeos <Lotus Notes Link>, users can register scanned paper documents directly in the Lotus Notes/Domino database without using a computer, by operating on the large control panel of ApeosPort, which allows them to shorten the work process from digitization of paper document to registration. Amid diversifying scanning needs, the software enables Lotus Notes users to enhance operational efficiency.
Fuji Xerox will continue to provide Lotus Notes/Domino users with solutions to resolve management issues and improve business operations leveraging the integrated management of paper and digital documents through linkage with ApeosPort series.
