Fuji Xerox Launches High-Speed Monochrome Printer That Meets a Wide Array of Needs From Mission-Critical Data Output to Variable Printing

TOKYO, July 2, 2008 — Targeting the production market, Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. has developed a high-speed, high-image-quality monochrome printer, 4127 Enterprise Printing System, which achieves 125 ppm^Note with 1,200dpi output resolution. Sales begin on September 8, 2008.

Among Fuji Xerox's monochrome cut-sheet printers for mission-critical data printing, The 4127 Enterprise Printing System is a top-end model that strengthens Fuji Xerox's product line-up through high-speed printing of 125 ppm. To further boost productivity, a new high-capacity stacker that stacks up to 5,500 sheets is incorporated in addition to the conventional paper supply function (maximum of 9,080 sheets including an optional tray). It is also possible to feed paper and toner while printing, thereby enabling high-volume continuous printing and swift processing.

The model newly employs “FreeFlow Print Server 6.0”, system software to control a printer. Besides the ability to handle bulk printing of files more than 2GB, which was previously impossible, the incorporation of a short-cut function to register frequently used operation screens facilitates a simplified operating environment to deliver even better performance and excellent operability. Furthermore, by maintaining compatibility with system software built into the company's other high-speed cut-sheet printers, Fuji Xerox assures proven reliability.

The main target markets of the 4127 Enterprise Printing System cover a wide spectrum, from corporations that process mission-critical data to outsourcing houses and data centers. Users can add different advertising content depending on personal interests and preferences, for instance, to TransPromo (bills with advertisements), insurance policies, explanatory booklets for insurance applications and transaction reports, by utilizing various application software, and print out the material at high speed.
