TOKYO, March 5, 2008 — Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. and Fuji Xerox InterField Co., Ltd. announce the introduction of new recycled paper products.
Fuji Xerox discontinued selling certain types of recycled paper for copy machines/printers upon discovery that the actual ratio of recycled pulp differed from that indicated on the label. We have been offering high-quality paper as an alternative in the interim.
With the ongoing provision of recycled paper foremost in mind, Fuji Xerox reorganized its lineup of recycled paper products by setting specific figures of 70, 50 and 10 percent for the ratio of recycled pulp to ensure stable provision amid a shortage of recycled paper in Japan. Other than recycled pulp, it will utilize fresh pulp taken primarily from forest trees from plantation. Fuji Xerox looks forward to customer patronage of these recycled paper products featuring new recycled pulp ratios.
Fuji Xerox and Fuji Xerox InterField will continue to provide copy/print paper that customers can use without concerns.
The new recycled paper products are as follows.
