Fuji Xerox Launches Low-Priced Color Digital Multifunction With High-Speed Color Scanner

DocuCentre C2101, 43ppm Color Scanning

TOKYO, February 18, 2008 — Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. has developed a full-color digital multifunction device, DocuCentre C2101. Sales begin on March 3, 2008.

DocuCentre C2101

DocuCentre C2101 features the basic functions of copy, print, faxNote 1 and scanNote 1, and achieves copy speed of 16ppm in color and 22ppm in monochrome (both A4 long-edge feed). It meets needs in small- to medium-sized offices – where the volume of color output is growing – with a single machine.

While being a basic model focused on basic functions, it can scan color documents at a speed of 43ppm (A4 long-edge feed). Achieving around three times faster than its predecessor, DocuCentre C2100, the level of productivity is on a par with upper models. Scanned data can be converted to other formats, such as a DocuWorks documentNote 2 or PDF, saved on a personal computer or server on the network, attached to an email and sentNote 3. The device therefore satisfies digitization needs and flexibly responds to a network environment.

This machine is a eco-friendly, resource recycling oriented product containing reused parts. Fuji Xerox ensures that reused parts meet strict quality standards and strives to make products that customers can use without anxiety.
