Notice Regarding Supply and Demand Condition of Recycled Paper for Copy Machines/Printers

TOKYO, February 5, 2008 — Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. and Fuji Xerox InterField Co., Ltd. announce the present condition of supply and demand for recycled paper for copy machines/printers and their future responses.

Although we discontinued sales of certain types of recycled paper offering alternative high-quality paper, we are still delivering those recycled paper products in the interim, upon statement of comprehension that the ratio of recycled pulp is not as indicated, and affix an appropriate summary explanation on the exterior of the packaging in case a customer wishes to continue purchasing the same paper.

However, as the paper manufacturers have ceased manufacturing those products, Fuji Xerox has no choice but to discontinue their sales when its stock becomes depleted.

As for other recycled paper products that have been confirmed that they meet standards for recycled pulp ratio, Fuji Xerox may not be able to provide them as demanded due to high volume of orders. We ask for your understanding and would like you to purchase alternative high-quality paper in such cases.

Fuji Xerox plans to make an announcement in the near future of an introduction of new recycled paper products that customers do not have to be concerned about.
